There's nothing like a big snow storm over the weekend where everything gets cancelled (including church) and you can get lots done around the house. I think I want to put in my request for several more before the winter's over. Has anyone ever heard of church getting cancelled before? This is a new one to me. No complaints. I'm just surprised because it really doesn't seem that bad to me. I think we got about 10-12 inches of snow. One thing we accomplished this weekend was give Ellie her first haircut. I'm surprised I haven't done it yet, but with her hair so curly, she's been able to get by without one.

I'm impressed. I've always wanted to cut my kids' hair, but never had the guts. Of course, Goose has only ever had one hair cut in her 2.5 years, and that was just evening up the back a bit!
